New Moon!

First of all, thanks Meg in advance for letting me rip off your pictures from your blog (our comp broke with all of our pictures on it and we haven't recovered them yet)

Megan, Emily (Meg's cute friend) and I went down to New Moon at the Gateway! It was tons of fun and I can't wait to take my husband to see it! I think he would like it.

Before the movie we went to Emily's house, had Jimmy Johns and headed down to the movie. I saw my sis and bro in law there.... that was fun. So I guess ppl rent out the different rooms (is what I hear). Well in ours they gave out door prizes and guess who got one??!!!! Me! However, it was just some candy.... Lame!

It was for sure a good girls night out and I had fun meeting Emily. I'm pretty sure I need more girls nights out in the future!!!

Here are some pictures on how the house in coming along. They have started sheet rocking!! They say the house will be done in Sept. We are SO SO SO excited and can't wait for it to be done.......

And this is why.

So BJ and I are renting a town house right now. We have a very rude landlord that we can never see eye to eye with (I personally think he has some type of a personality disorder and would benefit from some anger management!) So in June when it started getting hot we turned on our AC and it would blow out hot air and would never turn off. So I saw him outside one day and told him about it and he said it wasn't broken. I was like "Ok" but I knew it was messed up. So about a week later BJ called our landlord (his name is Norm Thompson, and never rent from him) and he asked him if he could come take a look at it. Well Norm came and looked at it and got it working.

To make a long story short.... About a week later I was outside and saw one of our good kitchen knives outside, with rust on it. Turns out Norm took it out there. So a week or so later BJ saw Norm outside working and confronted him about it. BJ just said basically not to take our things without asking and if he does use stuff not to leave it outside. Norm blew up! After much nasty foul language, screaming and yelling, he told us he was evicting us.

So the next morning I was going to call Norm and diffuse the situation, but low and behold he showed up at our front door with a 15 day notice to vacate. Norm screamed and yelled and cussed..... I couldn't believe the words that were coming out of this 60 year olds mouth. BJ and I tried to talk him down, but it was useless. Finally we told him to leave our front door and leave us alone. I wished I had recorded the conversation! Norm is CRAZY!

With some kind help from BJ's uncle (who is a lawyer), found that he could kick us out because we were now renting from month to month but not until the end of July. So BJ's uncle sent Norm a letter letting him know that we would not be leaving till then because that's what the law states. So after much praying and debating we decided to move in with my parents until the house is done. So we have to move twice in about six weeks! Fun for us! And why? As Norm stated in his vacate notice.... we had to leave because of "complaints against the landlord."

Last time I checked asking a landlord to plow in the winter so renters could get out, fix a leaky toilet, fix the AC, and not to take renters stuff was not really complaining. It's just kind of his job.

What a joke.

Happy 4th of July and Bear Lake

Last weekend a bunch of people were able to get together from work and go to Bear Lake. We camped the night before (BJ and I are not the camping type!) and then we played at Bear Lake the next day. It was kind of cold but it was good to have time to relax. I wish I had taken more pictures... but this is what you get!

These are out of order, but the weekend before was the 4th. I was actually able to spend time with family over the weekend even though I was scheduled at work. The census was low and so I didn't have to be there all of my shifts. On the 3rd BJ, me, Erick and Heather were able to hang out for a while and go see the fireworks in Hyrum. Then on the 4th we hung out with my family. We went and watched the Cruise In parade, at at my parents, and went to the fireworks in Lewiston. It was a fun weekend!
